Ingredients for Prawn Turai Recipe
- Ridge gourd (turai) cut into round
slices 1 kilogram
- Prawn (small) shelled 250 grams
- Oil 2 tablespoon
- Onions finely chopped 2 large
- Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to test
- Tomato finely chopped 3 medium

- coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoon
- Rai 1tsp
- Curry leaves few
- Whole zeera 1tsp
- 3 Green chillies chop
- Potatoes 2 medium
Step 1
Heat oil in a kadai. Add rai, zeera, and curry leaves once done add
onions and sauté till light brown.
Step 2
Then add tomatoes and haldi, salt and fry for some more time till
tomatoes are done Sauté for half a minute and add prawns & potatoes mix
well and cook till prawns and potatoes are cooked.
Step 3
Add Turai, Mix well and cook till water is absorbed. Garnish with
coriander leaves and serve hot.
