Ingredients for Prawn Turai Recipe

  1. Ridge gourd (turai) cut into round slices 1 kilogram
  2. Prawn (small) shelled 250 grams
  3. Oil 2 tablespoon
  4. Onions finely chopped 2 large
  5. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Salt to test
  7. Tomato finely chopped 3 medium millilitres
  8. coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoon
  9. Rai 1tsp
  10. Curry leaves few
  11. Whole zeera 1tsp
  12. 3 Green chillies chop
  13. Potatoes 2 medium

Step 1

Heat oil in a kadai. Add rai, zeera, and curry leaves once done add onions and sauté till light brown.

Step 2

Then add tomatoes and haldi, salt and fry for some more time till tomatoes are done Sauté for half a minute and add prawns & potatoes mix well and cook till prawns and potatoes are cooked.

Step 3

Add Turai, Mix well and cook till water is absorbed. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

READY TO SERVE HOT
