Chicken Angara is one such recipe which is very popular at home and also gets a lot of compliments whenever I make it for my friends and family.
The smoly flavour of the chicken, the yougurt gravy whith fried Onions and garlic and that slight hint of Kasuri methi, the flavours of this curry can make anyone hungry.
So if you want a restaurant style Chicken Angara, you dont have to visit a resturant.
Just follow the recipe and make it in your Kitchen and enjoy it at the comfort of your home.
Ingridents:
Chicken - 500gm
Balck Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder 1 tbsp
Jeera Powder- 1tsp
Garam Masala Powder- 1tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 2tbsp
Dahi 200 gms
Kasuri Methi 1 tsp
Whole red Chilli paste 2 tbsp
Fried Onion Paste- 2 big size
Tomato- 2 big (paste)
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Charcoal
Kashmiri red chilli powder 1tbsp
Oil for Cooking
Method:
- Marinate Chicken with all the spices except Onion Paste and tomatoes, give Chicken carcoal smoke and without oenong the lid keep in the refrigirator for 1hr.
- Heat Oil and Chicken, fry for some time add the entire masala and cook for 10 mins.
- Than add Onion paste and tomato paste and cook till chicken is tender
- Garnish with coriander
- serve hot with paratha.
